Character Name: Elizaveta Héderváry
Country: Hungary
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Camp guide or teen?: Teen
Appearance:
Elizaveta is a 160 cm tall and slim girl. She has long, slightly wavy hair. It kind of has a dark blond or brownish colour and is often decorated with flower accessories. She has bright green eyes. She's mostly seen wearing girly clothes, like cute dresses and skirts, but occasionally just likes to simply wear jeans and a plain shirt.
Personality:
Elizaveta would often be descibed bu people as 'a nice young lady'. Those who are close to her, however, would only laugh at that remark. Yes, she can be caring and sweet, but her "ladyness" is more of an act towards others to give a good impression, and she just likes to acting like that. Though in reality she is more of a tomboy; She's tough, couragious, competitive and sometimes even somewhat agressive. Elizaveta is a headstrong person. A person person who knows what she want, rather prideful as well and with sometimes a short temper.
This might scare you off, but she does actually have 'good' and more 'ladylike' qualities as well. Elizaveta is a kindhearted, honest, loyal and furtermore a protective person. If she finds you adorable, she'll dote all over you. To those she can really be like an older sister. She likes being relied to, (and can sometimes be a bit overprotective) but still, she is no doormat. She won't let people walk all over her.

History:
Elizaveta didn't really have what you call a normal childhood like most little girls. In fact, she didn't even know she was a girl. for years and years she believed she was a boy and 'it' would grow on later. She mostly hung around with boys and, as she already had a competitive spirit as a kid, she often got into trouble, or into fights with other boys. Her parents even raised her as a boy due to family heritage issues.
So her childhood was more like one of a tough little boy.... that was.. until puberty hit. Her parents as well could no longer deny it. She was actually a girl. Shocked and confused, her world changed so quickly. Boys and girls she used to get along with, were grossed out when the rumours spread. And now she was the one being bullied. Even though she was perfectly able to stand up for herself, things were just not alright anymore and her parents decided to move.
During these years Elizaveta started to behave more 'ladylike'. She gave up on playing outside in the mud, but instead started reading more as her new hobby and paid attention to her looks. Things were alright at her new place but she felt like she could no longer act how she really wanted. It was as if she had to compensate for her past as a boy. Slowly though she realised, thanks to her new friends, holding up such act would not be right as well. Now you could say her behaviour is more of a mix between the outer two, though she still liked to keep up the act in front of others.
Elizaveta herself was the one who came with the idea of her going to this camp. It would be a great experience, going to the USA and meeting all kinds of people from different countries. And furthermore, she always liked camps. Her parents were a bit heistant at first, since it was so far away. But they decided it would be good for her and well, she would be able to take care of herself.
Journal Sample:
Dear diary,
Here I am in, sitting in the bus, heading towards the camp. The flight here was rather tiring. My longest flight ever! I'm pretty excited. Wonder what it's going to be like. And how the rest of the campers are going to be like.
My first impression of everyone here on the bus, is well.... it's an odd interesting bunch of people. I haven't really talked much to anyone yet though.
It's because I'm just so tired and can't wait to get some sleep. I haven't really been able to sleep in the bus yet, and barely slept in the plane as well. I do hope the beds are a bit comfortable...
Well, until next time.
Yours, Elizaveta
Roleplay Sample:
Elizaveta walked across the pavement, heading towards the place for the buses to come. Her eyes where open wide, looking around from place to place. It was all so big and she had to make sure she wouldn't get lost here already. It was hard to describe how she felt right now. It was rather exciting. This was her first time in the USA, though she doubted she'd get to see anything beside the camp.
After looking for some signs, she had managed to find the bus places. Now it was just a matter of finding the right bus. She didn't think about what would happen if she got on the wrong bus. Though, if she would... she was convinced she would manage somehow. Elizaveta snapped out of her thoughts when she heard this teen mumbling in some foreign language, who was passing her. Could he be going to the camp too? She watched carefully where he went and followed. She could always try right?
He seemed to stop in front of a bus where more kids her age were gattered (with a few exceptions), some already sitting in the bus. It was quite a collection of people, with some of whom you could easily guess their nationality. There was almost no doubt this was the place, but Elizaveta still went to ask one of those who looked a bit older than the average group and so probably one of to be in charge. After getting a confirmation and reporting her name, she took place in the bus. At the moment she prefered getting a good seat over chatting outside with the other campers. She'd have all the time for that later. There were already a few sitting in the bus, some alone, some already with someone else. Elizaveta sat down somewhere by a window alone as well. Hopefully nobody nosy would sit beside her.
After more and more people had gotten into the bus, and then, according to one of the guides, finally the last, the bus set off. Elizaveta noticed there were a lot more boys than girls. She sighed. Well this was going to be fun. The person who had sat down beside her was a guy as well. He didn't pay attention to her and she didn't mind. She turned her head to the window and stared at the scenery. Later after looking out the window for a while and a few failed attempts to sleep, she took out her journal and began to write.
